03 — Threshold 1: No Going Back

The call may come many times before you heed its advice. It may come through a continual lack of recognition at work or in your personal life. There may be many of life’s expectations failing to materialise, or there may be repetitive relationship struggles. It may be a personal or professional crisis, or it may be something that's been chipping away at you for a long time… yet a call may come through. It may first feel negative.

For example: Didn’t get the recognition you were looking for; Didn't work out the way you expected it to; Didn't go as you'd planned; You don't know why certain things happen to you; Don’t know what life and reality are about, you just don't know!

When you've surrendered to the call and followed your inner curiosity, The Journey Begins… your Hero’s Journey may be underway. Congratulations, this may be the start of a different relationship with the struggle.

However, be warned. Your gifts, your unique mission, and your purpose for existing may take time to emerge; they may not arrive at the flick of a switch.

The Hero’s Journey is a process, and while it might sound confusing right now, once you embark on it, there may be NO WAY BACK to seeing things as you did before.

Once you answer your own inner call, you embark on what’s called YOUR HERO’s JOURNEY, a journey no one can take for you. Others may not fully understand your experience, though you may choose to share parts of it with them.

It’s yours and yours alone, and who knows what you may discover along the way?
