The Hero's Journey
06 — Threshold 3 — WOW You're Back
An Original Exploration · 2010
The process of dissolution and letting go of life as you once knew it cannot accurately be put into words. Upon reflection, you may be amazed at what you understand as your creator’s work. Bear in mind, this is deeply subjective and may make sense chiefly to you; sharing it can sometimes feel as though the momentum stalls.
You may experience a stall when trying to alter what has already taken shape in your external world. One way to understand this is that our inner life influences what we notice and how we act; expectations and ego can also affect attempts to bring an inner vision into practical life. That may be part of what happens when creation feels as though it crashes.
The process can take time. If a mentor, guide or sage feels useful, seek someone whose perspective resonates with you. A good guide may help you stay oriented, though your own judgment and intuition still matter as you decide what to trust. They may have encountered experiences like yours.
Your Gift
Amid the upheaval of an old life, you may find a gift, something that feels uniquely yours. You may not recognise it until it arrives, and you may come to see it as part of a mission or purpose. Perhaps everyone has something of value to discover.
